Bondi Basics ("we", "our") is an Australian family-owned business. This policy explains what the Bondi Basics iPhone app does — and deliberately doesn't do — with your information.
The short version
We built this app to sell you beautiful things, not to harvest your data. The app contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking SDKs. We never sell your information.
What stays on your phone
These never leave your device:

Loves (wishlist) — stored on your phone only

Recently viewed products — stored on your phone only

Spotlight entries — indexed privately by iOS on your device
What is shared with Shopify
Our store runs on Shopify, the same platform behind our website. When you use the app:

Browsing requests (which products the app loads) go to Shopify's Storefront service

Your bag is a Shopify cart, referenced by an anonymous ID

Checkout happens on Shopify's secure hosted checkout page — your name, address, and payment details are entered there and handled by Shopify under their privacy policy. The app itself never sees or stores your card details.

Sign-in (optional) sends your email and password securely to Shopify to fetch your order history. Your session token is stored in your iPhone's encrypted Keychain.

What we receive
When you place an order we receive what any shop needs to fulfil it: your name, contact details, delivery address and order contents. We use these to deliver your order and, only if you've opted in, to send our newsletter. We never use them for advertising networks.
Your rights
Australian Privacy Principles (and GDPR where applicable) give you the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Email us and we'll sort it via the contact page at bondibasics.com.au.
Children
The app is a shopping experience intended for ages 16+. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes we'll update this page and the date above.
